Last August, Shannon Morrison was released after serving a 7-year prison sentence. She has since started to rebuild her life, moving in with other formerly incarcerated women and working at a new job. Though fortunate to have work and a home, Shannon must readjust to society and deal with obstacles and stigmas of being formerly incarcerated. She is also determined to use her newfound perspective to help other women by becoming an advocate.
