This year’s Christmas Appeal explores ‘Rebuilding Strength’, with a focus on showcasing the ‘heroes’ Vinnies assists. The Appeal highlights the thousands of Australians out there who personify heroism. They are the women who find the courage to flee from abusive households, men who find the strength to overcome disadvantaged upbringings and parents who make incredible sacrifices to keep their children safe. These are the people who we, the St Vincent de Paul Society, assist each and every day. Central to the Christmas Appeal is the work conducted by our dedicated members, every day, assisting the people who turn to us and making a real difference to their lives. Our members, are our heroes too.
