May it be a new game or skill; you will surely miss it because you will most likely be more attracted with the new shiny toy than your old friend.

So, for example, instead of focusing first on what you already have, a new eBook on how to do such and such can hinder you from taking the next step with your first make money online method.
This is why for the New Year up ahead, you may want to consider focusing on what you already have; especially if it seems very promising, at least for the time being. After exhausting all options you have with that method, go ahead and move to another one. Just make sure that you can really keep yourself focused, though.
