St. Michael’s College Professor Susan Ouellette leads a discussion about the subject matter behind the book “Bread and Roses, Too” by American novelist Katherine Paterson. Susan M. Ouellette is Professor of History and American Studies at Saint Michael’s College and the author of US Textile Production in Historical Perspective: A Case Study from Massachusetts. This talk is in association with the Vermont Humanities Council’s ‘Vermont Reads’ statewide community initiative.
