Christine and Esther both fled their homes in northern Uganda to escape Kony’s war. Now, years later, they are rebuilding not only their homes, but their lives. The houses they are building fulfill their lifelong dreams of providing homes of peace and security for their families.

Recently I traveled to Kitgum, in the far north of Uganda, and got a tour of their homes in progress. What these women have accomplished is incredible.
