Are enough women challenging for sport’s top jobs?

Closing the gender gap – is enough being done to encourage women to challenge for senior leadership roles in sport? Under recent government guidelines, UK sporting bodies must have at least 30% of non-executive director roles filled by women, or risk losing funding.

Shelley Alexander is the Lead for Diversity and Women’s Sport at BBC Sport. She discussed the issue with iSportconnect at the recent London Director’s Club.
