The University of Maryland’s ViewFinder photojournalists set out across the state to find women who embody the word “strong.” When you hear about strong women, you might automatically think about bodybuilders at the gym. The women you’ll meet in this video have a different type of strength – a strength forged by surviving, and in some cases, thriving in the face of extreme obstacles.
