The Arab Women Sport Tournament saw participants from 12 countries, including the hosts UAE, take part in the inaugural Arab Women’s Sports Tournament which took place at the Sharjah Ladies Club. The aim behind organizing this event was to publicize the positive impact of sports and physical activities on health and its role in changing social perceptions about the practice of girls for sport.
