Blerina is a professional lawyer and a volunteer dedicated to the development of sustainable tourism in Albania. An avid lover of rafting at the age of 14, she becomes the first girl who dares practicing that brand new sport in Albania.
Blerina Ago was elected, in 2012, by public votes within 100 Albanian Women who have committed to make a difference in the civic life of Albanian community, through the program “UNIK”, News 24 – Balkanweb. She has facilitated, arranged and organized several community based activities on a variety of topics for creating awareness among the masses on human rights, women empowerment, youth social entrepreneurship, environmental issues and sustainable tourism development.
She has an extensive experience of communication skills, which is filled with change and challenge, visioning, planning and program development, innovative and social action initiatives and much cooperative exciting work within the country (Albania) and abroad.
Over the past eight years she has followed different specializations, owning international certifications and qualifications specifying: ” Project Cycle Management”, “ Quality, Implementation and Strengthening of Legislation “, “Increasing human capacity in Regional Development and adherence to EU Structural Funds”,” Mediation in Dispute Resolution “, “ How to apply in EU funds”, “Mastering Assertive Performance”, “Trainer of Trainers CHT” and “Tourism Management”.
