I present to you my first short film.

The main thread of the story came from listening to Yoko Kanno’s song “von”. After listening to it a hundred times, the characters began to come to life in my imagination and I couldn’t get rid of them.

I started developing the script and storyboards in July 2016. The story continued to evolve as the months passed and a year later (July 2017) “VON” was chosen by the professors of Direction 1 of the University of Cinema of Buenos Aires to be filmed on October 27, 28 and 29, and that’s what we did.

I want to thank each and every one of the beautiful and talented women who worked on this short film. To my parents. And also, of course, the only man on the technical team after me, Vitor. Thanks guys.

And the beautiful cast that brought to life these characters that existed only in my head and in my hidden texts.

“VON” touches on important topics such as neurosis, depression, gender violence and child violence.
