An introduction to ‘Women Are Gone’ by Squamish Elder Wendy Charbonneau

This new work is dedicated to the rape and murder victims of indigenous women in Canada whose lives remain unaccounted for. The new commission by the Cambridge Music Conference gives voice to the victims of the missing women’s inquiry. The first official public performance is on 13 August 2016 at Carleton University, Ottawa dedicated to Rebuilding Our Humanity.
