The YWCA of Greater Portland’s mission is to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all…and their COHR Housing program is just one way they do that.

This video tells the story of a real life hero within YWCA, Eliana Kennedy. Being a survivor herself, she knows what a woman needs when transitioning out of abusive relationship and she helps women navigate the complicated, challenging and healing landscape of rebuilding a life after abuse.

So many women came together to tell this story.
