The fourth Women’s Mental Health Network event coincided with a National Women’s Council of Ireland members and friends meeting on Friday 29th November. This event entitled ‘Gender Based Violence and Women’s Mental Health’ was organised in support of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence campaign.
The National Women’s Council of Ireland and St Patrick’s Mental Health Services have come together to develop a Women’s Mental Health Network. This is a network of people and organisations with a committed interest in women’s mental health issues. The network has two aims:
1) To provide a forum for information-sharing and networking
2) To advance interdisciplinary and multi-agency collaboration on women’s mental health issues
To do this we share information via newsletters and online updates and organise education and networking events hosted collaboratively by National Women’s Council of Ireland and St Patrick’s Mental Health Services.
